Maximum Liability Limits $1,000,000 CSL BI & PD and Maximum Physical Damage Limits $75,000 per Vehicle.

627.7415. Commercial motor vehicle; additional liability insurance coverage

Commercial motor vehicles, operated upon the roads and highways of the State of Florida shall be insured with the following minimum levels of combined Bodily Liability Insurance and Property Damage Liability Insurance in addition to any other insurance requirements:
  1. Fifty thousand dollars per occurrence for a commercial motor vehicle with a gross vehicle weight of 26,000 pounds or more, but less than 35,000 pounds
  2. One hundred thousand dollars per occurrence for a commercial motor vehicle with a gross vehicle weight of 35,000 pounds or more, but less than 44,000 pounds
  3. Three hundred thousand dollars per occurrence for a commercial motor vehicle with a gross vehicle weight of 44,000 pounds or more

On - Hook Insurance Coverage

On Hook Insurance is a type commercial insurance used by TOW TRUCKS (“wreckers”). On-Hook towing insurance will normally pay to repair or replace a vehicle if it is damaged by a collision, fire, theft, explosion or vandalism while it is being towed. This coverage is-not the same as Cargo Coverage.
Available Limits: $10,000 – $15,000 - $25,000 - $50,000 – $75,000 - $100,000
Available Deductibles: $500 - $1,000 – $2,500 - $5,000
